Defining + Maintaining Balance by Aligning with Our Core Values

In 2026, we are going to discover and define balance in our lives. We recognize that we all have various roles and responsibilities that demand our time and attention. Balance can look different to everyone and can differ day-to-day. It is up to each of us to define what our personal balance is so that we can achieve it and maintain it. By understanding what our core values are and being true to them, we aim to live authentically so that we can show up fully for ourselves and others.

Let’s define and maintain balance by aligning with our core values at New Year, New You 2026.

New Year, New You

It has been a passion for the IIDA South Florida Chapter to be an advocate for our interior design industry and the professional development of its members.

We recognize that our industry is unique. We know that you require knowledge beyond academics to succeed in life. This is why we created New Year, New You: a professional and - most importantly - personal development event to kick off the new year to support our members’ development goals and aspirations.

Let’s begin connecting with an array of delicious brunch-style snacks and refreshments and get your professional headshots to lead your 2026 look. Dive deep with professional and personal panel discussions. Finish the day by networking and mingling at our happy hour.

Our hope is that you will leave the event feeling advanced and inspired both personally and professionally and that you are encouraged by our speakers’ holistic insights to achieve the best version of yourself!
