Sunny Reed, CID, IIDA, LEED AP ID+C”

With 10 years of commercial design experience, Sunny Reed joins the South Florida IIDA Chapter as a professional member. She recently relocated from Minneapolis, MN due to her partner’s job transfer (and to escape the cold winters!). She has joined Perkins + Will as a Senior Interior Project Designer. She is no stranger to IIDA as she has been a member since 2011, and served on the board of the Northland Chapter as the VP of Professional Development (2013-2015) as well as serving on various committees.  She hopes to remain involved and meet the local members here in Florida. Sunny is passionate about design, mentor ship, and advocating for the practice of commercial interior architecture. When asked about her experience with IIDA she explains:
“IIDA provides professional growth, education, networking opportunities, as well as a community for commercial interior designers. I will always value the opportunities the organization has provided to me, along with the fun events and social outings!  I look forward to meeting everyone here in Florida and discovering how I can help elevate our design community through IIDA!”
