What’s Your Type? The Designer’s Guide to Specifying Leather

WHATS YOUR TYPE.jpg

Leather has been around since the dawn of humankind and ranks up there with fire as a key catalyst for human progress. It has sheltered, protected, transported and even fed mankind, playing a vital role in our early existence. It really is the fabric of life in so many ways: from the tradition of the 3rd wedding anniversary to American football, baseball and the black leather jacket, leather is all around us.

All leather is not created equal. In this guide to leather finishes, designers will learn how leather is made and the finish types that differentiate them. Designers will leave with an understanding of how to better specify leather for design projects.
